My husband and I come down from Bloomington a few times a year. We've also been to Horseshoe, and we like Belterra much better. Reminds me a lot of the Agua Caliente hotel and casino in Rancho Mirage, CA, where we used to live. Had spa services this time, they were great. Liz in the spa was awesome.
Its a nice clean , fun place to enjoy I love it. Food is good. The rooms are extra nice and roomy. Love the jazzucci . pool is nice and is always fun to go on the boat also. 4th dinner was suburb and fireworks was beautiful. Thanks Belterra for another magical night. Forgot to mention the complete staff is wonderful including valet and my wonderful hostess Marilyn Barber
This hotel has SO much potential. We waited an hour in a half for wine opener. Hotel staff were so uninformed and not one could answer a question, way understaffed and no smiles. . Wait time for most things was long. Probably would not go back.
Just got home from once again a great stay at Belterra. We checked into our beautiful room then went to The Stadium where we were greeted by the charming, friendly, best bartender ( Christian). We always feel like good friends when Christian, Kim, Stephanie, and manager Jake see us. The food was great as usual. Next we ventured into the casino. Finally we took our chairs outside and saw a spectacular fireworks show. Belterra is a two hour drive for us and even though we have a casino 20 from home this is our fave.

We just stayed for the first time and had a great experience! Hung out at the pool, went to the casino, dined, golfed, aND had spa/salon services. Everything was super reasonable (drinks and food all very fairly priced!). The staff was friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go back!
Had fun with my sister and brother in law. Room nice but could smell smoke in halls even though room non smoking. Food good And plenty of choices. Lost some money gambling but still good time. Next time I will bring more cash for gambling but hopefully I will win big. Very happy to see you are pet friendly.
