Belk advertises a sale price then while the price is still showing on the web, when you click on the item to order the price changes to more by the amount of the discount they are offering. You can not order unless you pay the higher price. I called and the customer service responded that they can not change the price until the item is shipping status and she will be leaving notes on the order about the issue. Order just got cancelled. Blamed on their system doesn't update regularly? 2019 and a company this large can't keep up with online inventory? Sounds to me they like to make money on a fictitious items. Charge and gain interest then say that they don't have the item. Three days to figure out you don't have it in stock??? Really??? Worst company ever. Customer service guy must get a lot of these calls. Totally knew what was going on. Scam of a company.

Returns are virtually impossible. Twice this year I've had to return items purchased online. There is no return form to fill out & no returns shipping address. After being FORCED to call customer service I spent over ONE HOUR with CSR on the phone. TWICE. They may have a great return window (6 mos.) but make the return impossible. Best policy for returns is *********. I'll take them over Belk anytime.

I'm horrified that I ordered from BELK on 11/24/2018, paid with a gift card, then BELK cancelled part of my order, however, BELK has stolen $62.95 from me (I called on 12/14/18) and refuses to credit the amount for the CANCELLED order back to my gift card. Do not under any circumstances give your money to BELK Stores.
