Bel has really changed through the years, and its not a good change. The merchandise is not good quality. Pay close attention on Belk.com as they are selling some items from Marketplace. You cannot return those items to Belk. And, they do not stand behind those products. Good luck with contacting to sellers too. They lost a 30 year card holder today.
I returned my items last month and weeks later I still have not received my refund. Ive called 3 times the first person told me they got everything and the refund was being processed. A week later I called back second person say the refund was put in the system but never processed and to give it 3 more days. Im waiting and still nothing. I purchased a 14 karat 18 inch rope for my husband's Christmas present on 12/2/21. I did not purchase a warranty. He received the present Christmas day, removing the blue tag. He attempted to wear the necklace for the first time on Tuesday, January 4th, however, as he was putting it on, it popped. I and my daughter took it back to Belk with my receipt on 01/6/2022. I ordered something online. After about an hour, I changed my mind. Well lo and behold, you only have 30 minutes to cancel an order! I called today, a WEEK after I ordered the item, and it hasnt even shipped yet. But they couldnt cancel my order after an hour??? Never again, Belk.
Ordered a product through Belks that was handled by a third party. Never received item after repeated calls to Belks (who instructed me I would have to reach out to the Seller). Seller never responded and every time I call Belks I get the run around that there is nothing they can do.All I want is my money $70 returned. The customer service is horrid and unethical. They lie repeatedly until they wear you down waiting. They kept promising to resolve a situation and then do nothing. I have had easier times buying homes than resolving issue with belk. I am literally shocked they are still in business.
Belk is awful when it comes to customer service. I ordered 4 items from ********************** got three the last was a cologne that I never received ordered in Dec 10th 2021. Called Belk three times they told me I would have to email the market place co. Beauty and Ko. Belks has chosen to not price anything on the floor. Instead one is required to download their app. 1. Im far from phone savvy and 2. Its difficult to get the items to the register to get the price. And to top it off the associates on the floor are rude and dismissive when asked for help.
Their online order process is hard. Their customer service is a joke. Amazon will put them out of business because their customer service is so lacking.... I wont do another order with them Ever. My package is lost in their warehouse. They wont help me until the 19th which will be to late for Christmas stuff to arrive. I placed my order on the 8th. I will order from amazon and make sure im refuned for this order. NEVER AGAIN will they get my business.
