I'm shocked they even have **** stars. I've lost track of the number of botches Belk has made since I started buying from them but here's a start:- I ordered a package to be overnighted to a client of mine. 3 days later they emailed me saying the item was out of stock, 2 days after it was supposed to arrive.- One another order, I purchased 2 items--overnight--and it arrived 2 days LATE--and one of the items was "cancelled" because it was out of stock.- I don't receive an email when 1) I purchase an item (no receipt), 2) an i... read more
Worst store ever!!! They are a huge scam and should be out of business. My latest dealing with them, I ordered and item on belk.com and paid in full. Four days later I get an email that say sorry we canceled your order, but dont worry you wont be charged. I already paid in full! When I finally got a customer service rep on the phone they said I would be refunded in 5-7 business days. WTF!!!
If corporate is not going to clean house with their poor management, please close these stores so we can get a decent department store in town where we can all shop. I am in *******, **.
Don't do it! Don't put yourself through the BELK experience. I am flabergasted that this company is still in busimess and is actually allowed to operate. My experience with BELK was the #1 worst experience i've encountered with any company. Ever. In any industry, It's almost impressive how bad and how much worse it was. Poor customer service. I reported an unauthorized purchase. They open a case, I provided all the information they asked for. I was told someone will be in touch. Today I received an email stating we cant help you because we dont have all the information? Sorry company. Stay away.
Very poor customer Service (lack thereof.). Spoke with ***** about my experience when I called to complain. She apologized and claimed she couldnt help me. Im now stuck with a Champion Sweatshirt with a Security Tag on it. The Security System must be terrible because the clerk did not take off the tag nor did the alarm go off when I left the store. Sadly, the Manager was unable to provide help or compensation for a return visit. Im sharing my experience on our community bulletin board and advising people not to shop at Belk.
Credit Card Unfair business practices!!! NOT FULL disclosure!! They are getting desperate- I bet MasterCard is giving kickbacks! I don't apply for department store credit cards especially when I'm trying to keep a good credit score... but... this time I did... to get the discount of course. Paid it ASAP but never canceled. I purchased a beauty product, a Lancôme eyeliner, online that would not deposit color. I demonstrated in-store and broke the tip pressing hard on my hand without making a mark. The employee called a manager and she said sorry, there's nothing we can do about it due to COVID policies. I clearly understand the policy, related to COVID, but this isn't a product I just don't like. It is faulty. Belk is not standing behind their products and using COVID as a reason.
