Bede Serviced Apartments was a deeply disappointing experience. In addition to the high daily rate, they require a deposit that is extremely difficult to reclaim. The shower lacks hot water, the rug is filthy, and basic essentials like a tissue box or drinking water are not provided. Worse still, the management is dismissive and unhelpful. Avoid the hassle and look elsewhere for accommodation.
‼️Horrendous place to stay! On top of rent, you MUST pay a deposit, which is a NIGHTMARE to get back. NO HOT WATER in the shower, Dirty bedsheets with someone elses breath stains , You have to fight with a cheap shower unit that keeps switching to freezing water , a 🤢 a disgusting filthy rug, and not even a tissue box or basic drinking water. Arrogant management makes it even worse! Avoid at all costs!
Could use the hotel. Didn't send link for deposit. When I got there to book in I had no English money as flying to USA. No cards as we only had dollars on us. We had to sleep in the car night before going to Heathrow
I checked in at 3, a bit of a mixup as I'd generally expect someone to be at the door, meet/ greet etc. No one. Called up and was told where the keys were, got in, all great however, I'd add that sachets of coffee/ tea/ sugar is not enough for two people. Also, anyone that hasn't come here, although it isn't a problem for me, these "apartments" are situated in a converted residential house. OK but very basic not connected to the hotel, door left open all day. Hotel food basic not great, so expensive ended up with microwave pie and school mash because they ran out of Sunday roast even though we booked. Never again !
