During Nov 2020, I contacted Beckett to learn about the new fees and wait times for card grading services. After speaking to a sales person I chose a price plan that would result in "an approximate 6 month turnaround". Two weeks ago I received an e-mail from Beckett with the title "Your Grading Process Has Begun", but after checking my order on their website the status remains unchanged. I have only bought from Beckett. After many purchases, my experience has been tremendous. The cards have been as described and delivery efficient. Highly recommended.

I sent in 8 cards to be graded using Beckett's express service which charges $150 for each graded card. Six of the cards (3 -Larry Bird Topps 1981-82 and 3 - Magic Johnson Topps 1981-82) were from the same box of cards purchased in 1982. Since their purchase they were in my possession or in a safe deposit box. The three Bird cards were graded as a 7, 8 and 8.5. Beckett received my grading order on 7/24/20 and I have been told at least 4 times that it will be another 2 months. When i originally submitted, the estimated turnaround time was 4 months and it has now been 9 months. Their website states they are completing submissions in 9+ months but that will change shortly as every time i get close to the estimate, they extend it by a month or two. Sent cards in back in June of 2020 for grading. At that point nothing was posted on the website about large delays. As if i had new i would of just past on working with them. Even when i handed to their workers they said nothing about delays. Then all i get now from them is if you wanted your cards back you should of paid more money. That is bait and switch as not posted and now you want more money for your service. I pray someone looks into these company's.

First, when submitting high value cards for submission, I use USPS registered mail. USPS lets you track and know when the package has been delivered. I sent one of these higher value packages and was only aware that Beckett received the package by checking USPS. When high value orders ($1000+) are submitted and finally received, Beckett should send out an email letting the customer know. This company is atrocious!! Sent in 7 cards to be graded 7/6/2020, was originally given a turn around time of 2-3 months. Called in late September for an update, was told they were backed up and they would be completed by January. Called back in late January, was told they were still backed up and they would be completed by February. Called back in February was told they would be completed by the end of March. Over the summer my 11 year old boy wanted me to get beckett to review some of my old cards. we did this for a short period of time and utlized the service over a 3-4 week period. We have not used the Beckett service since then and then months later I get hit with a $199 charge for nothing. I tried to get a refund and an Alan B., Business Development Exec, sends a simple message stating "The online price guide subscriptions are non-refundable". This is not the first time purchase. Non-Sports Update Paid Subscription - Never received. I paid for a subscription through Amazon on 10/30/2020 and as of 3/13/2021 I have never received a single issue. I have called twice and on the last call on 2/24/2021 with Nancy she ended up yelling at me and called me rude. I was so upset that a customer service person would treat me like they did and I told her so.
