I ignored the one/two star Google reviews when I submitted to Beckett because I've always appreciated them for their price guide. How bad could their grading service be? Turns out, pretty bad. People have complained about the length of time your order is processed and I also had the same experience. You pay for 25-45 days, and three months later, I'm still waiting. But honestly, I'm not in any hurry so I'm not furious about the delay. Would I like them to be on time for what I paid for? Sure. But what I am most slighted by a... read more

I submitted 4 different sets of Pokémon cards for grading in January, February, April, and May through DFW.Pokémon for standard submissions which according to their website took "3+ months". A reasonable expectation would estimate 5 months for a turn around time. However, as of November 10, 2021 I still have not received any of my submissions. Once I got the hang of figuring how to get one order from just one supplier (Diamonds in the Rough) to simplify shipping chargers, my order came within two weeks by mail. This is a far cry from dealing with a previous company that I had dealt with (Check out my Cards) that went bad this year, not able to complete an order within two months! I am happy with Beckett working with several dealers in the US.

Called customer service to obtain a refund for a service I was never provided. Customer service promised a call back within 24 hours. 3 weeks later still no call but an email containing no new info or solutions. By far the least professional organization I have come into contact with in a long time.

I recently signed for a subscription for Becketts phone app for one year. Upon signing up I was looking at the options for the length of the subscription and I had chosen the year long subscription which stated its year long price of $349.99 as well as a monthly price of less than $25.00 so I selected that under the impression that this was a month to month subscription. I recently sent in a basketball card to be reviewed. Spent nearly $200 in total. When I received the card back it was given a grade of "altered" and they sited two small blemishes in the back that, according to them, was "evidence of color added." I got the card 20+ years ago as a child, I have no idea if that's true or not, but that's not the point.
