Inspired by his travels across Italy, Joe Bastianich opened Becco with his mom Lidia to much fanfare. The word Becco comes from the Italian verb beccare, meaning "to nibble." A great addition to Broadway's dining alternatives, the lovely restaurant is a popular pit stop for theater-goers. Delicious food, great service and perfect location. Our good friend Dina recommended we try your restaurant and I was not disappointed. Generous portions were served with a feel of home. My husband and I were visiting from Maryland and this restaurant was recommended by a family member. We couldn't get a reservation and was told it was an hour wait. We decided to wait and it was less than 20 minutes. The service and food were fabulous. Very loud but every Italian restaurant is. Loved it!

A bit crowed, but food was great. We had a private room for our party which made the experience special
The food was amazingly good but the wait staff literally should have been working fast food. They were inattentive & couldn't remember the smallest request - and we were there with a private party so they had no one else to worry about
Food was fabulous !!!! I had the lamb chops and orderd the pasta special as well 👍👍. Will return soon......
Wonderful! Ordered that chef's triple pasta of the day - finally had to beg the waiters to stop bringing out more. Oh, so tasty! $14.95 and FABULOUS!
Food was amazing! We all had the 3 pasta sampler- served family style with salad- perfect and fast since we were headed to the theater!
A great time with a fun group! Sat in back in the private room. Had excellent wait service was fantastic. Would've given it 5 stars if I could haven chosen my meal vs a prepared 5 course family style meal, but it was a free meal, great times, lovely wine. I'd definitely go back if I'm ever in NYC again.
