Inspired by his travels across Italy, Joe Bastianich opened Becco with his mom Lidia to much fanfare. The word Becco comes from the Italian verb beccare, meaning "to nibble." I have been there many times and enjoyed the food. Last night service was horrible, and food was not great.
My brother said it best "This place makes you realize I need a better vocabulary to describe food, you can only says its melts in your mouth so many times" Everything was great from the service to the latte... The prosciutto was possibly the best thing I've ever eaten....
Good food, had reservations and still had to wait 1/2 an hour. We had a limo waiting for us to take us home, so being we were late to be seated, dessert came out only half of it an no coffee and tea either served either.
Great dinner past specials are awesome. Thanks Becco
