Inspired by his travels across Italy, Joe Bastianich opened Becco with his mom Lidia to much fanfare. The word Becco comes from the Italian verb beccare, meaning "to nibble." A great addition to Broadway's dining alternatives, the lovely restaurant is a popular pit stop for theater-goers. Sample their delectable prix-fixe pasta menu and the kitchen's redefinition of Italian flavors with an impressive wine list and seasonal cocktails.

Never disappointed. Good and service are amazing. One recommendation would be to add cannoli to the regular dessert menu.
Overbooked..reservations mean nothing here... people standing everywhere the bar the dining area the hostess station the hallway near the restrooms staff shoved everyone in as they waited for tables to open. ... the table set up creates an overcrowded atmosphere. Tables on top of each other waiter could not serve us properly had to reach over other diners to serve our food.. and speak to us. This is a poorly managed restaurant ...I'd rather be turned away then shoved in and served the way we were last night ...spent good mon... read more
Our very first visit....from entering to leaving a fantastic experience..waitstaff great and food wonderful ..crowded but what do you expect its holiday time.....
The food was ok. Price honest, but too crowded and noisy place.
We have been devoted customers for years. One of my favorite places. I love the polenta con speck, my favorite! Also love the veal bolognese sauce. Unfortunately, we were very rushed in the beginning, and it took 30 mins to get our wine. They were accommodating after I asked them to slow down, and they treated us to a delicious dessert array. It is a great value, and delicious food. Just need to slow down and let us enjoy. Overbooking is not a good thing. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Awesome Italian restaurant...straightforward menu that they hit out of the park nailing the classics while offering some more unique offerings. If you are in the NYC Times Square area you should check Becco out...get a reservation...the place was jammed packed for lunch on a Monday! After eating there I understand why it was so busy.
We enjoy at Becco frequently. Fabulous dinner! The only drawback, waiter was from abrupt and unpleasant.
I can't say enough great things about my very first visit to Becco. From the friendly bartender and delicious drinks to the incredible appetizers including the Caesar salad, and my Swordfish with brussel sprouts was the most delicious, moist swordfish I have ever had. It was mouth watering. My friends ordered the three-course pasta and they raved about it. Our waiter was incredible, great sense of humor very informative about the items on the menu. We could not have asked for more. Just a wonderful experience all around. I w... read more
