Offering comfortable favorites & new items rarely seen in local smokehouse cuisine, "hand-crafted" is the only way we do business. With no freezers, no cans, & no microwaves, we push the limits of fresh BBQ. Want local? We buy as much as possible from our community & local farms seasonally.

Nothing is hot, let alone warm when it gets to the table or for to-go order. So many things are sold out by 630/7 o'clock. And the prices are going up waaaaayy too much, especially for cold food. Not so much the meat prices that are bad, but the sides and drinks are ridiculously priced now. So disappointed how this has became; we would go to eat here several times a week when first opened, up until early last year. ���
WOW! This was a phenomenal lunch at Beasts today. Dry Rub Pork Steak and Ribs were so tender they fell apart with a fork. This BBQ is a 5 Star PLUS! Thanks to Ric Sandusky’s invite (Ric is Dave’s father). Dave, we look forward to your new St. Louis restaurant! We shall return often! Congratulations on making the best BBQ steaks & ribs in St. Louis!
Beast catered our wedding and I cannot say enough good things about it! The food was amazing! From the brisket, to the mac & cheese, down to the rolls, everything was delicious. Our guests could not stop raving about it! We worked with Devon and she was amazing! She was on top of it the entire way and calmed me when I would get nervous. I knew I could trust her and didn't have to worry about any of the details. I highly recommend their catering service for any occasion!
Great food.... great service....not enough seating... small building for the amount of people coming in to eat .......ran out of multiple menu items the night we were there.. would go back but not at peak times..
It’s ridiculously good !! From the candied bacon to the ribs !! We are now lifelong customers. Excited for the Grove location!!
So glad I finally made it to the Beast. I had the pork steak - the rub they apply and then sear before smoking is - amazing!!! It is so tender You could literally eat this with a plastic fork.
What has happened to the ribs? We have had the ribs at Breast Craft once a week for a long time and LOVED them, but something has changed for the worse. The were big, juicy and very meaty. The last three weeks the ribs are small and very dry� We wonder what has happened?
The quality of the food & the service was very good. A bit pricy though.
