Burnt ends are the best I've ever had. I only get here when traveling for work, but I hit it every chance I get.
We got the Family Meal (ribs, pulled chicken, mac & cheese, baked beans, and cornbread) for our 17th anniversary. I have to say (and she would agree), this food is the absolute BEST BBQ we have ever experienced. We will be back again and again and again... Looking forward to trying the BBQ kielbasa next!
Just drove over from RI yesterday to the Windsor location get my fix of some Bears. I used to live near by and stopped in once a week. The beans are by far the best BBQ beans I have ever had and I eat a lot of BBQ on frequent trips to TX. Brisket was very very dry this time but brisket can be hit or miss depending on how busy it is and how long since the last few cuts into it. The BEST BBQ (aside from my dad's BBQ of course LOL). I honestly loved it. My Family went there for my husband's birthday & we've been hooked ever since. Nice atmosphere & staff. Had a great Time. The Mitchell family, Windsor, CT
My wife and I are from East Hampton CT and took the 40 minute drive for our first experience at Bears, and it was down right amazing. Never had I seen a beef rib so big, that is unless you've seen the Flintstones opening. LoL Tender and juicy fall off the bone! Best I've had, the pulled pork was great but I still think my homemade PP is better lol mac and cheese was great! My favorite bbq place used to be Little Marks. Now it Bears! We will be back!
We had brisket, pulled pork, chicken, burnt ends, baled beans, coleslaw, cornbread, mac & cheese, and it was all great!
By far the best brisket I've had since the year I spent in Oklahoma. Amazingly friendly staff. This place is definitely a destination. I will visit them if ever I am in the area again.
Servers had bad attitudes and just plain rude. The owner needs to clean house from what I saw
