We went there today, I have to say that the food was good. The best burnt ends I've had in long time . I highly recommend bears smokehouse
Stopped in for the first time there yesterday for Mother's Day. They were out of all things chicken and pork ribs. Went to order the Super Spud and was told they were out of potatoes. The meat cutter who informed me if this didn't seem to care much and seemed to be out of when we needed to rethink our our order. They had a free mother's day meal for military spouses as well that they didn't seem aware of and had to show them the promotion they were running online to get my wife's meal free. Drove over an hour to eat at this restraunt that seemed to have 4.5 stars. Once there I found out they were out of pulled chicken, half chicken and baby back ribs. I who doesn't eat meat figured I would love a potato while my husband ate whatever was left on to order on the menu. They said they were out of potatos of any kind. So I sat there on mothers day watching people eat. After ten minutes I notice people are coming out with potatoes. Service was quick, choices plentiful, food good, place was clean n quaint and prices reasonable. Will go there again n again.
The food is amazing! Love the chicken and brisket.
We toke a risk going off our route, but was so worth it! Place was great, food was great, choices were great, sauces were delicious. Will definitely be our go to place next time I'm out that way.
I love Bears and I eat here often. The service was slow on this visit. There were 2 cashiers and a few people working the cooking equipment but only one serving meats and one serving sides. Not the usual.
Best BBQ in the state of Connecticut in my opinion!
