Visiting from NC and was so impressed with the food! Burnt ends were FABULOUS! Casual atmosphere. We really enjoyed the evening!
I have had BBQ from all over Texas, St Louis, the Carolina's and Alabama. I rate it with the best I have had in the country.

Ghost Pepper sauce is amazing! Really nice setup' very welcoming. I think my pulled pork is better, but they kill it with the brisket!
I had Bear's cater my wedding...best decision ever! Leading up to it, they were very helpful and responsive, answer every question I had! They worked with me to determine what I needed and how much of it, and were always able to change the order with no issues. Amazing... I ate here 3 nights in a row... never done that anywhere else before.
The meat!! So tender and tasty!!!! Even without any BBQ sauce, it's utterly amazing and I dream about it nightly. As my daughter said, "that meat changed my life." Sides I didn't care for except green beans and cornbread. Sorry, that is not real Southern mac n cheese. Hosmer soda, made in CT, can't go wrong. So many varieties and each one is so flavorful! Very casual environment but I prefer it, as I hate dressing up.
Girlfriend and I went to the Windsor location (her first time). I've had BBQ all over the country to include Kansas City, Texas, Tennessee, to name a few; Bear's is top five for sure. The staff were ok, seemed a little checked out- in fairness it must have been bike night or something, there was hundreds of bikers so they were slammed and still moving right along. Overall, it was a great experience, great food, and good BBQ Sauces. Can't wait to go back.
Awesome, most tender beef brisket I ever had..nice peppery BBQ sauce, and yes home made sweet iced tea
