I went here tonight for the first time. Very friendly staff and great food.
Simple, yet wonderful!!! I drive about an hour to get here and it's worth the trip every time. Cafeteria style setup. I should have purchased extra food for take-home!

Maybe the BEST ribs I've ever had! And they get you thru the line that forms..QUICK!! It's an awesome place,and the EMPLOYEES alone are worth the trip. A+
Always amazing. Great staff and atmosphere. The Bear attack is such an awesome meal. Meats are always moist and have the right amount of smoke and rub.
We love going to Bear's Smokehouse BBQ in Windsor,Ct . The food is delicious and always a large portion. The sweet potatos are great.I wish they had the advertised UCONN ice cream . They only had about 1/2 of the flavors that were on the board. Why have so many flavors advertised but not have them .
Bear’s Smokehouse is quite simply THE BEST barbecue I have ever had! The servers are great - extremely knowledgeable, very friendly and welcoming. I would consider moving simply to be closer to them than my present 3 hour drive.
The baked beans were too spicy then I expected, but damn everything else I got was really really good. My only complaint is that you guys are only in Connecticut, wish you guys had a store in Atlanta. I normally don't rate restaurants good or bad, but I made an exception today. 5/5 stars.
