Always awesome to eat at. This time brought my family up there. Usually it’s the place we stop for for lunch coming back from the CT state fire academy with my guys on the FD.
Fair to medium brisket. Nothing unusual or special. Better plan on being out before 7pm when the "dj" punk comes in and blows your eardrums out. Quite obnoxious unless you enjoy screaming. Just plan on getting out before 7pm for "trivia night'.
RecommendedThe meat was amazing. Super tender. I had the pulled pork and brisket. The moink balls weren't all that great, kind of dry and not as flavorful as I was hoping. The sides were ehhh. I tried my husbands beans which I found strange. The mac and cheese there wasn't anything special about. While the start of the coleslaw was yummy when I started eatting the bottom of my cup I felt like the vinegar was super over powering. First time going there food was excellent plan on going there more often
The food was absolutely incredible! Top notch draft beers on top of having Hosmer Soda on tap. Best soda ever!! I’ve been all over the country and had a lot of BBQ. This is my favorite bar none!
