My wife and I really love Bear's Smokehouse BBQ. Our favorites are the brisket and the burnt ends. I would give it a 5 star rating but a couple of times I got a dried out batch of burnt ends. On one visit the wife and I ordered burnt ends. The guy gave me the last of a pan of burnt ends and then opened a new one and gave my wife her order. The one in Hartford was better! The employees were rude and always on their phones and the portions were puny and my brisket was cold! Won't be going back to this one!
I have been to Bear's several times and last night was nothing short of good food. It was surprisingly quiet and I got everything I wanted although my husband didn't. I told him how popular this place is and more food is available earlier in the evening(might be something to consider in the future having all food available through the whole day). My daughter warned me about the burnt ends!! They were fantastic and I was delighted when she couldn't finish all of hers.
Not southern BBQ but not bad. I would go back. Just stay away from the mac and no cheese
EXCELLENT!!! The food was amazing and the staff was friendly.
First time at Bear's today! Was craving BBQ and my boyfriend said he knew exactly where to go! First impression: LOOK AT THAT TRUCK!!! Hands down the best brisket I've had in a long time. Might have to make the drive again tomorrow haha
