We love bears food and really feel its the best BBQ in Ct. We have been to all the locations and the staff are amazing at all of them along with the food. We even had Bears cater our wedding reception this past October 1st! Thank you to the whole crew for making our reception delicious:)
Wowzer! ..coming from someone from the deep south, I feel I know Bar BQ. This is good stuff.... the meat as well as the sides with nothing short on the portions. I couldn't eat it all.
Horrible cold over loaded with BBQ sauce, pork that was all burnt or just fat, forgot my fries(no one was in there but me so it wasn't busy) and when I did get them they were so over cooked! And it's cost me 25 dollars for just myself. Will never be back again
So our rental car salesperson recommended we have lunch here. I have to admit I was skeptical about finding "great BBQ" in New England but I was sooo wrong. This was hands down the best BBQ I have ever eaten, the only bad part is not being able to return!
We are from out of town.. in fact out of country, didnt know that the resturant is canteen style but the beautiful and charming lady at the counter helped her with patience, explained her how to order what to order. � The food was awesome... we had chicken wings, pulled chicken sandwich and fries.... the meat was well cooked and yet juicy and tender... they way I like it.... and their souce are next to none... i would strongly recommend their Ghost chilli souce if u have handle the heat... overall, it was an awesome experien... read more
I had the pulled pork and kielbasa, it was delicious. If your ever around there it's a great place to stop for some good BBQ.
Tonight I had the Texas sausage and it excellent. For sides I had baked beans and cornbread. I had the sweet sauce and drank sweet tea. There was plenty to eat. By far, the best around. Very clean inside. Friendly staff. Be patient, the line moves quickly.
I finally finally made it here while waiting for my flight .. I had such a bad day. My flight was cancelled in New Haven . Had to go to Bradley airport...My bff took me here. I had pulled pork brisket Mac and cheese and collared greens... excellent best thing to the South In CT..
Great food. The turkey, ribs, cornbread and honey butter are all top notch!
