About this business

Beardslee Castle might seem a bit out of place in the woods near the Adirondacks, but this fine dining establishment in the Hudson Valley offers a traditional American menu with Asian and Mediterranean influences. Built in the 1860s, the castle remained a private residence until the 1940s when it opened as "The Manor" and allowed in visitors. Beardslee opened in its current incarnation in 1994. Soon after, reports came in of ghosts on the property and frequent sightings. In the castle's basement, patrons can find The Dungeon... read more

My daughter and son in law, took us here, for mother's day lunch. We waited a hour and half to get our food, we got alot of water and coffee, and bread serviced, to us. The cheese planter, had three piece of cheese, with no cracker to put it on. My son in law, had some kind of trout, which did not come with and veggie, just some kind of kale under it. This has been our third time we have been here, I'm sure it will be our last. $200. For not much of any thing. I would of been happy with Denny's.

Arrived at 10:45 am to check out the psychic fair. Waited 30 minutes to even get in the front door. Listened to all of the complaints from people leaving and we decided to keep the price of admission in our pockets and head elsewhere. Oh well, live and learn.

Went for our anniversary dinner. My wife and I both have food allergies. Everyone from the hostess, to the waitstaff, and the chefs were all incredibly helpful and understanding. And the food is simply a work of art. Both Visually and taste. Love it.
