About this business

Beardslee Castle might seem a bit out of place in the woods near the Adirondacks, but this fine dining establishment in the Hudson Valley offers a traditional American menu with Asian and Mediterranean influences. Built in the 1860s, the castle remained a private residence until the 1940s when it opened as "The Manor" and allowed in visitors. Beardslee opened in its current incarnation in 1994. Soon after, reports came in of ghosts on the property and frequent sightings. In the castle's basement, patrons can find The Dungeon... read more

There has been over 1300 shares on facebook regarding Beardslee Castle not giving her deposit back. Please do the right thing so that I can post an update stating that you changed your mind and did the right thing by this young girl and her fiance'.

Terrible thing about that woman's deposit pure greed. Glad to see this is getting around quickly for all of your customers to see. Sickening!! Very hopeful this will affect your business negatively if the right thing is not done.

You should be disgusted and ashamed of yourselves I do not personally know the women with brain tumor but I feel for her. As someone planning a wedding trust me no one would choose chemo over there wedding. Regardless of policy there is always a clause regarding tragedy or catastrophic life events, you are fully capable of giving this women her deposit you are choosing not to. You are being heartless and cold.
