Beardslee Castle might seem a bit out of place in the woods near the Adirondacks, but this fine dining establishment in the Hudson Valley offers a traditional American menu with Asian and Mediterranean influences. Built in the 1860s, the castle remained a private residence until the 1940s when it opened as "The Manor" and allowed in visitors. Beardslee opened in its current incarnation in 1994. I had my wedding here and Lynn and Jennifer were just great. Everything was perfect from start to finish. I could go on all day long about all the great things they did. I highly reccomened them.
Unique atmosphere, pleasant service, tasty food, plenty of room.
I got married here yesterday and everything was beyond perfect. Lynn and Jen were on top of everything. The decorations were wonderfully placed and all our guests complimented how great the food was. The staff were so great and helpful! Thank you to all who made this day the picture perfect idea I had and for making my dreams become reality!

I got married here yesterday and it was absolutely perfect! Lynn and Jen went out of their way to make everything perfect and accommodating in any way they could. Food was amazing and the place looked stunning. Couldn't be happier we chose Beardslee as our wedding venue. Thanks again everyone!

Beautiful place, amazing food, and the most fabulous staff!!! It's such a special place because there is truly nothing like it. We look forward to visiting again. Definitely worth the drive from the capital district!
