Built in the 1860s, the castle remained a private residence until the 1940s when it opened as "The Manor" and allowed in visitors. Beardslee opened in its current incarnation in 1994. Absolutely outstanding! Food was great, and such a unique atmosphere.
We had a wonderful meal here on Sunday Nov. 5, 2017. It was so exciting actually eating in a real castle. We traveled from Saratoga after hearing some good reviews about the restaurant. It was about a 1hr. 15min. Trip, but well worth the drive. Love the history and all the ghostly sprits that give the property its energy. If you go, make sure you have the cheese cake for desert. It was the best we ever had. We will diffently visit again.
Loved the atmosphere, the food was all delicious and the wait staff was great! Totally recommend this gem and we will be back! ❤
My husband and I were married at the castle yesterday and we are so pleased by the attentive staff, outstanding food & service , quality & professionalism of the entire staff . Our venue was exquisite and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. Opted for family style serving and everything was fresh , hot and delicious. Two thumbs up & 5 � � thank you Beardslee!!!! You made our day unforgettable!
Our first time was last night ! 10/27/17 ! We will be back ... many more times! Staff amazing atmosphere A+ ! When we got home we told our 24 year daughter that she getting married there!! She was like .. I need a boy friend first! lol beautiful!
The food and atmosphere was absolutely fantastic!
