Lovely atmosphere, the veterinarian (jasmine) who has seen my puppy was lovely. Very knowledgeable and caring. She took the time ensuring Milo was settled before she gave him his second vaccination. Definitely happy I joined beacon vets.
We recently moved to the area and have a 16 year old husky who needed an urgent appointment. We checked reviews online first and decided to ring the surgery and the very friendly and helpful receptionist was able to book us in that morning. We were worried about his back legs and wanted him to be more comfortable. We saw Kitty one of the vets and she was so lovely and caring, went through everything with us and we left with some medication for him, which I must say has helped massively. We visited Beacon vets in Summercourt for an initial “get to know you” visit with our dog, Finlay. It was an absolutely fantastic experience for us from the second we walked in. The reception staff are very friendly and welcoming. We met Sarah the vet who immediately recognised that we have a nervous dog - although he hides it well - and she took great pains to reassure him before each part of the examination. I have found beacon vets to provide a very supportive service for my two border collies and myself. By subscribing to their beaconair club I have not only saved money but know that I can see a vet immediately without worrying about consultation fees. However without this subscription I have found their fees to be fair. I have found them to be honest and trustworthy. All of the staff are very friendly and caring. We are very lucky to have Beacon vets just across the road. My two beautiful German Shepard Bully crosses are very well looked after. I have also been lucky to have Colin look after my previous Staffordshire, he really is a super vet. Being an independent practice allows Colin, Lizzy and the team to shape excellent care while maintaining affordability. I recommend the Beaconeer club, they also work with various pet insurance schemes to help spread the costs. Highly recommend Beacon vets.
