The best place in the US to get comfort food. My husband and I share a slice -a - plenty and always leave satisfied, and you cannot beat the Beacon's tea. We love the Beacon.
The food was ok. The staff, with the exception of one girl behind the counter, was extremely rude.
Perfect as always. Visiting there has become our family tradition. Love the place!
I love The Beacon been eating there since I was little. Every time I come to Spartanburg I stop at The Beacon.
Stop in with the boys on a road trip...We would definitely come back but. It just for the food but for the whole experience. You don't find restaurants like this everywhere. My advise to anyone stopping in is to order small portions and now that that the fries and Orion rings are fried so there is grease. Also get a side of the chicken stew and huss puppies...dip the cornbread in the stew...who know it could be so good.
It's different from any other place you have ate at. Awesome :)
Been going to the Beacon for many years.. miss JC calling my order always enjoyed watching him. Outside with extra red and big onion was as always AWESOME 👏!!!!
I can't believe I ate the whole thing. I'll be back the next trip.
Been 15+ years since my last visit. Still awesome.
