We’ve been coming here for over a decade. Today was our last visit. The good: Sweet tea is phenomenal. Portions are huge. The so-so: The food has always been mediocre. For out-of-towers, the experience is unique. The bad: Rude workers. Plural. They were training a new cashier during dinner hour. The food was decent- wouldn’t expect anything different from a “drive-in” but you guys need to work on the cleanliness of the business. It was absolutely disgusting inside and out. It was clear no one there enjoyed there job, and everyone in the kitchen was being ugly to one another and we had several people get their chili cheese burgers before us..... because they were serving them to everyone in line behind us..... even after we were like hey that’s our food . Their catering is so bad it’s embarrassing. The mash potatoes were so bland it didn’t have a pinch of salt, the green beans...bland. The dinner rolls hard and dry! The decent thing was the Mac n cheese and I hate Mac and cheese. The turkey was soaking in some pink juice at the bottom of the tray....the passion in their food is gone. I ate there yesterday on the way home from Flat Rock back to Columbia. I was so excited because I heard it was so good. Well it was awful! Cheeseburger patty was dry and cold and the cheese wasn't even melted. The onion rings were nothing but grease..I was very disappointed and would not go back! So much for Triple D's opinion!!
Originally from Spartanburg so when I go back i do everything in my power to eat here. The food is always perfect. Grease... onion rings... lemon sweet tea... I am obsessed with this place.
Came back home the other day and had to go to the Beacon no other place like it in the � best food and service ever
Service was quick & friendly, got a lot of food for the money.
The chicken stew is really good. I recommend you give it a try. They also make good coleslaw.
