We stopped by after our day trip of seeing frozen waterfalls in N. C. First impressions of the place was it seems like a fun place to eat they was yelling of orders and such even I started yelling lol. They give you alot of food. The sweet tea was very good. It was a fun experience.
Best chicken stew ever! Try it with hush puppies. You won’t be disappointed.
The Beacon is not a bad place but the workers are very RUDE. I order a chili cheese plenty with extra mayo and wanted hot onion rings and fries, the lil rude chic fixing the food tried to give me a burger that had been there for someone else, so I ask did it have extra mayo that witch said I will give u some extra mayo packs no ma’am that’s not what I order. What a nice surprise for me as I've never been to this tradition of so many . I only wish I lived close so I could come here often.
Food was absolutely terrible first time going there and I won't be back! Plus the manager was rude.
Sadly, The Food Is Not Worth The Money. I Was Expecting So Much More...Always Wanted To Try This Place But It’s Overpriced And The Food Isn’t Spectacular. You Get So Many Fries But The Burgers Are Skimpy! However, Larry Was Awesome! He Is The First Person You See Walking In And He Was Very Kind And Helpful. Restaurant Could Use Some Cleaning. Everything On Out Table Was Dusty Or Sticky.
Food is always good but tonight Susan made it 10x better with a clean booth and a friendly personality
I liked the new option for baskets for the opportunity to try more things.
