My husband and I have each had excellent experiences at Bayhealth/Kent General in the past couple months. Mine in the ER after a serious car accident and my husband's for inpatient surgery. We both experienced pleasant professionals that provided excellent care & attention.
Waited over six hours to be seen. No one would help expedite us to be discharged. Hospital staff said they were too busy and over populated with patients. If they would of attended to us we would of been one less. We sat there watching people come and go, we froze and took naps and had no food or water . we were there from 1:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
I had a procedure on Thursday, the staff was amazing very compassionate and understanding my fears they helped with my fears through the whole thing... thank you so much...
Great nurses and very clean hospital. Everyone is so friendly and helpful.
Took 6.5 hours for me to get called back to the "second" internal waiting room in the ER and over 8 hours before I seen an actual doctor. Just moved to the state and will not go back to this ER again if I can help it.
Im currently sitting in the waiting room going on 5 hrs. Excruciating pain and drainage, but no one does anything. But hey, nice christmas tree. (Insert sarcasm)
Something really needs to be done regarding the wait time. It is absolutely ridiculous of how long you have to wait just to see a doctor. Maybe you all need to hire additional help to better serve us (the people). We are the reason you all have a job. They told me when I asked about the wait time for my niece, the lady at the window said that it depended on the level of care and that two trauma patients had just arrived. I hand a broken hand they let me seat in the hallway for 13 hrs with out any pain meds & my son was sick seating in the waiting room for 7 hrs had a faver of 103 would not take my son back at all I had something wrong me my stomach and they wanted too do sugary for no reason to do any of that shit I will die before I go back too bayhealth one star should not be good enough for this hospital it's crazy as hell always make us wait for hrs and hrs and they would not give me any food at all �����
I was surprised... I had an outpatient surgery and everything went smoothly and quickly.
