A HUGE shoutout to CORE PT and Glenn Brown and Jill Thomas Miller. They saved my behind yesterday when my new hip decided to dislocate. Not sure what the outcome would've been had this happened at home. They saved me. A second shoutout to Kent County EMS and Paramedics. First IV I didn't feel. Last shoutout goes to KGH ER. I want to express my appreciation to Bayhealth Cardiac Staff. The Doctors and everyone in Cardiac unit are responsible for saving my wife's life. She had waited 17 years too long to have her Mitral Valve replaced. We understood the risk and knew she might not make it thru the surgery. They informed me daily of her condition and what to expect. It was a rough time but they are solely responsible for her survival. Everything possible was done to help her and make her comfortable. They are very Professional. What a great staff.... read more
They have always been good to me. Have received excellent treatment there. Feel fortunate to live in Dover and close to Kent General.
Even a one star is to good for this hospital. The emergency room is a joke. Nasty staff along with a 4 hour wait for a 83 year old women with back pain sitting in a wheelchair? Really, don't you think if you got her out of the wheelchair and into a bed her pain would be better? I am just be an LPN for over 30 years, but I know when someone is in pain. Your nasty, twisting their hair, chewing gum, staff are no example of what hospital care should be. Your name should be Bayhealth, careless, and don't give a dam!
If there's had been a no star option, I would have chosen it!!! Bad service!!!! Ridiculous waiting times! Save yourself a lot of heartache and problems and go to Christiana. Substandard service. You know the service is bad when a chest pain patient is in the ER waiting room for over 2 1/2 hours and still waiting...
Don't go here if you need an xray cause they'll give it to you immediately but the results cannot be had. I was taken in 5 minutes and 4 hours later I see nobody. I'm checking out.
I rather go to the vet den dis place their service in the emergency room sucks take it from personal experience run for your life Here I am still at killer general my chest is tight and I'm coughing so much that I'm choking which I have been complaining about but because they don't hear me wheezing I'm in the waiting area suffering and in pain SMH last time I was having an asthma attack they called security and had me forcibly discharged I feel like I'm being punished for being sick
If you are receiving substandard care from Bayhealth, learn from my mistake and do not contact Patient Advocacy. You may feel it's not possible but the level of care will get worse once you contact them. This is especially true on 2 North.
