Wonderful doctors and staff.
Worst medical center I've ever seen. Staff is rude if you can even find someone to help you 1/2 the time and you're not getting out in less than 8 hours no matter how dead they are. They have 3 speeds: slow, extremely slow, and flatline. And their billing department always bills incorrectly. Fortunately for them, there's no competition otherwise they'd be put of business.
Had my son there on 6/20/18. Everyone was extremely nice, and professional. Felt my son and I were in great hands.
I want to say a HUGE thank you to all of the medical professionals who have been providing such wonderful care to the patient in 1319A. Each and every one of you have been very kind, patient, and super sweet to her. Thus far, you’ve made her stay as “stress free” and “comfortable” as you possibly could in an environment where it’s not easy to be either. In an often thankless profession, where most tasks are not for the faint of heart, you definitely deserve recognition for providing such commendable patient care!
This is about one of the staff members in the cafeteria. Ms. Joyce!!! From not just AMAZING customer service but she is “Queen of Wraps”. She should be visited by the cooking shows and or have her own food truck (business). I prefer to not to anywhere else...I guess you can go to the hospital for a good cause! Because she is amazing! I am not from the area so I didn’t know what to expect when we went to Bayhealth’s ER. What a great experience! They were quick to evaluate my friend and did it with a kind and caring attitude. Special thanks to Nurse Nicole for laughing with us!
The ER wait In Smyrna is ridiculous every time. The desk clerk is unconcerned about helping out but very concerned about her phone.
