Many people have a negative view or have had a bad experience with time share companies. My husband and I have owned with BG since 2013 and we love it! We own our package and pay maintenance fees annually. Yes we know we'll be paying maintenance fees forever but we are homeowners also and will be paying property taxes forever as well. So that doesn't bother us. We get to choose from a wide variety of locations, cruises, different vacation styles and the accommodations are nice and clean! Thieves, they **** about everything. We already pay off our loan, and , we stuck with this fraud. Keep away, my best advise do not buy it! We have 10,000 points , when we bought it ,we been told that was enough for every place , big ***** They will talk to you about the last minute reservation since you are owner always are going to have a room, big ***** We reserved 7,000, we have to pay to reserve our own points. Thank you to all of the Bluegreen staff in Savannah, GA at The Studio Homes at Ellis Square. We recently stayed there and had a great time! The accommodations were in a perfect location, nicely decorated and very clean. We have been BG owners for approximately 5 years and have been very pleased with our resort stays. We have viewed many of the educational webinars and found them to be very helpful, with the staff often providing tips on how to get the most out of our points. As many mentioned...at this point, not very happy! The representatives created such a beautiful picture, only to find out you do not actually receive what was promised. Not only are the consumers like me complaining, it appears the partner company Bass Pro Shop is not happy with arrangements and has also filed a lawsuit against Bluegreen.

First off, I want to start off by saying how dissatisfied I am with this company and its lack of respect for human beings. I have never in my life experienced something that is so detrimental, owning this timeshare has caused extreme anxiety and depression due to all the false promises and pressure that I've experienced. My husband and I were suckered in by this company in 2000. We are "bronze" owners and have purchased extra points 3 other times. We warn everyone to not be suckered by this crap. You will be sorry and believe me that taking a cruise and going anywhere is better and a whole lot cheaper. Our maintenance fees for this year is 1637.00 and has gone up almost every year. When we couldn't get a vacation for a desired place we were put up in a 3 star motel for a week. We also have 5 kids that we wanted added to the deed and included... read more

We were approached by a sales representative for Bluegreen Vacations at Bass Pro Shop in Memphis. We purchased a 2 night stay for $199, agreeing to attend a 2-hour presentation. We had to book our stay within the next year. During the transaction, we asked the representative several times if this purchase could be cancelled at anytime as my husband and I were planning to start a family and my father has several health issues.
