I've been a Bluegreen owner for several years. I've stayed in a number of their facilities and the accommodations have always exceeded my expectations. My recent stay at the new Marquee in New Orleans was over the top, thanks to the exceptional staff and fun decor. I've have difficulty with availability. Since I fly to most resorts it would be helpful to me to know what kind, if any, type of transportation other than car rental, is available. Nothing is perfect but my overall experience has been positive.

I purchased a low-end timeshare with the Bluegreen Vacations back in January 2016, after finding out about the company through BassPro Shop kiosk and making a trip out to Las Vegas for the $149 two night special. I was at the time right in the middle of escrow for a house, and let the salesmen know it was a major concern. We really enjoyed our stay at the Blue Green Falls Village. The staff provided us an upgrade, at no charge, when our studio was not ready. We have been owners for years. We attended a no-pressure owner update which was one of the most informative ones we've ever had. We had a relaxed and enjoyable stay for our anniversary. The Falls Village is our Branson go to resort.

We vacationed with bluegreens for 3 years before finally agreeing to buy the sample package. 10 days after paying the down payment for the sampler we go to book a vacation and told we can't use our points during the summer! What the heck?! We can only vacation during the summer due to our children's school and they have just been knocked out of summer vacations for 2 years because of this joke of a company! I would give Bluegreen zero stars if I could. We have been with them for a few years now and it's just a waste of money! This is not an investment like we were duped into thinking it was suppose to be. We are barely ever able to use this when we want like we were told we would be able to. Every time we are able to take time off of work we the places we want to go never have availability's. And not to mention the rising maintenance fees. We recently purchased with Bluegreen Vacations and are extremely unhappy with our experiences so far. At this point in time, we have found that our maintenance fees are over triple the amount that they were stated they would be with yearly increases, we were told that upgrading would give us booking over other owners, we were told Bluegreen would help us to sell our ownership if we wanted (they told us to call them specifically), guaranteed this was a valuable investment, and we were given special contact information to reac... read more

I just purchased a blue green vacation in April of 2019 then went back in May for orientation. I bought more points then but I have experienced a hard time booking vacations and all these bad reviews have me concerned. I don't know what to do... sell or keep hoping for the best. I'm confused!

Stay away from this company. They will do anything to get you to sign. Nothing but lies. When you go to try and do the things they said you could do you can't. It is worthless. I've looked into staying at some of the resorts and I can not because I don't have enough points or I have to stay during off season. They are only getting a 1 star because I was made to rate it.

My husband and I purchased our first points in 2002. Many changes have been made since that purchase but the intent of Bluegreen has not. We had some great vacations before my husband's death in 2018. I am now really realizing the benefits of the membership and am never disappointed with the quality of the lodges and the courtesy of those helping me. Once in the "swing" of the way it all works, you'll grow very fond of your membership. .
