Absolutely one of the best New American meals we have ever had. Creative and yet never extravagent. Technically superb as well. Goat liver pate was delicious, smooth and rich without being overwhelming. And they welcomed our 120 pound Dog!
Baisl, is outstanding in every way. Their menu is quite innovative and they procure and exquisitely prepare wild game and serve unique, hard to fine wines. The servers are very attentive and super kind. Can't wait to return!
Basil's is a small, intimate restaurant in the heart of Carmel-by the-Sea. The food is always excellent and creative. that would normally be enough but the service provided and the staff really make the evening wonderful. This has become our favorite place for quiet intimate dining. Whenever we are in Carmel we bring friends there and they had the same reaction. It is a wonderful place to dine with friends and have good delicious food.
