I have been going to Dr. Barry for many years (12+). I have always found her staff to be very efficient. I love that appoints are always on time, thorough, but quick. I think Dr. Barry is very personable and patient as she explains what she's doing or answers my questions. She's excellent!
Dr. Barry is overly concerned with reimbursement and consistently creates two appointments for something that can be handled in one appointment. As an established patient, I went in to have a new growth removed. She looked at it, stated she didn’t know what it was, but would biopsy it - in 3 weeks! Her office is very inconvenient to get to, so imagine how I felt when I realized I would not get this taken care of during my appointment. My husband stopped going to her for this exact reason. Dr Barry is excellent. She is a excellent diagnostician. She has been my dermatologist for several years. She is efficient and knowledgeable. Although at times hard to make an appointment, she is always time.
After being diagnosed with an autoimmune disease by another doctor and treated for over a year, my condition kept getting worse. When I had swollen feet and sores all over my body I chose to see Dr. Barry. She immediately gave me medications and within a month I was seeing great improvement. She is good at explaining her course of action to me according to how I am doing. Highly recommend Dr. Barry. Plus, I have always found the office staff and nurse to be pleasant, helpful, and knowledgeable.
I had a TeleHealth appointment with Dr. Barry on 9/4/2020 and was a little skeptical on how that would go (being it was my first by phone). It was excellent (just like all my in person visits in her office). She is thorough with her exams, very caring / explaining in her diagnosis, and excellent with solutions (fixes to the problem). I would recommend Dr. Barry to anyone.
