My 2004 V-Star 1100 Classic I just wanted to let you know how thrilled I am with the service department fixing my bike. For the better part of 2 1/2 years it was making a popping, backfiring sound on deceleration. My friend spent over $700 dollars bringing it to two local Yamaha dealers, one in Venice and one in Bradenton and one independent "bike" mechanic. Now it is more fun to ride than ever! As the owner of a Suzuki 1400 Intruder for the past 10 years, I have enjoyed riding in the Florida weather since I retired from Indiana. Recently, I had some motorcycle battery problems and contacted your store for some assistance. Go anywhere besides Barneys! I would NOT recommend this stealership to anyone. It's such a shame, because they're local and have a large selection of bikes. I approached them to buy two different mototorcycles ... Novemeber 2005 - Kawasaki Ninja 250R - MSRP 2999 March 2006 - Yamaha FZ6 - MSRP $6799 The first visit for the Ninja resulted in no negotiation and they wanted to charge me $3500 OTD (out the door, tax, title, etc).
