It's a really well-organized shop, and the manager is lovely, but unfortunately, a couple of the staff members aren't very friendly or helpful to customers. I've donated several things to help the cause, but every time I go there, I feel like they're doing me a favor. I will never go back to that store.

Really great charity shop, I’m very glad to have it there. Both great for getting clothes, toys and homewares, as well as donating. Sure, they can’t always accept as they are full, but I don’t mind waiting a week or two for this excellent service (I call ahead to check if they have space too). Thank you team!

I have tried to drop off some donations this evening, 15 minutes prior to closing, and the lady shut the door in my face and pointed to the closed sign. This is the third time that I have gone out of my way to drop off donations to Barnardos Rooksdown to find them closed before the advertised time of 17:00 (on the two previous occasions I had called ahead to check that they would be open at 16:45 and was assured that they would be). Very ungrateful, rude and grumpy. Bag of donations no thank you. They went through the bag and gave back what they didn’t want and walked off. Won’t be returning
