The level of inventiveness, craft, and attention to detail in every dish and ingredient and cocktail hasn’t wavered since they moved up north. The food is superb and surprising, the cocktails inventive and satisfying, and Swine Time is the best happy hour deal in town. The best items on a great menu at half price. Heaven. The staff are casual and friendly, yet superbly obsessive and knowledgeable. Still my top night out in Austin.
Horrible reception tonight. Rolled in late, no reservations, so didn’t expect miracles. We were denied even ordering drinks!?! REALLY?
Great experience! Everything was wonderful! We sat at the chef's table and did the tasting menu. It was a great last meal before we left Austin!
Food quality and taste were amazing. The price was pretty high in the end and the portions are small appetizer size so you buy a bunch and share them. There were four of us. Presentation was great and the staff were very nice and helpful.
My husband and I recently took our daughter to Barley Swine for her birthday. We had the tasting menu, and she had the vegetarian tasting menu. Every course was wonderful. I also thought the wines were perfect companions to the courses. We especially enjoyed beer with one of the courses. We will definitely return. Loved it!!!
Barley Swine provided one of the finest dining experiences I’ve ever had. The 10 course tasting menu was absolutely superb. Sitting at the chef’s counter provided insight into the young talented chefs producing plate after plate of excellent food.
Killer vegan options! And the service was fantastic. Highly recommend.
Outstanding service, love the cucumber margarita. The food selection was outstanding. Not somewhere we would normally go since we live way south but it was well worth the trip and we will return. Big thumbs up.
