The staff, including the manager, were very rude and unhelpful. My account was unexpectedly closed and nobody at the bank can explain why. They simply repeat that the system shows the closure and I need to call the number. But I wonder why I need to call the number when the staff at the bank are there to help. What's the point of them being there if they can't help? And if they can't help, they could at least be kind. I am extremely disappointed and never ever will open an account at this bank.

i went into the branch to pay some money into my barclays account but there was a queue at the machines so instead i went to the cashier who was doing nothing but was told that i needed to use the machine. i told her that there was a queue so id like her to deal with me as she didnt have any one with her but she wouldnt have it saying that i needed to use the machine. I will not be using the branch again and instead have opened an account with another bank. in reply to your response to me....as i didnt give a time or a date ... read more

One of the worst banks I have ever visited. The staff don't want work! And the manger can't even manage the queue for the machines never mind the bank. Going by the rest of the reviews should of being sacked months ago.

9.30 to 15.00!! We are going back to the dark ages with regards to Bank opening times. They do not need to cash up now...hardly any cash in circulation!! Why is it that you can withdraw up to £1200.00 on an ATM inside the Branch, but only up to £300.00 on the ATM outside? There seems to be half a dozen staff standing around barking orders, but no staff on the tills...why?
