I have been sitting in the ER today with unbearable head, neck and back pain for over 5 hrs. At around 6pm today they told another lady who has also been waiting for hours like me that there were no doctors to see the patients and that's why they are so backed up. This is outrageous a huge hospital has no doctors to see patients in the ER. Needless to say I will never come to this hospital ER ever again. They should have a screen that projects the estimated wait time so patients can stay or go if they choose. I was never adv... read more
My father was a patient in ICU (wing 5, room D-1) at Baptist and passed away on September 29th at 10:13 pm. I wanted to write and let you know how exceptional his nursing staff Diana and Sylvia were. TheirMy compassion towards not only my father but my mother, sister and son was exemplary and far exceeded my expectations. I have always had a great experience here at Baptist Hospital. But after spending a week here with my 2 month old premature son, (who had already spent a month in the NICU when he was born), unfortunately my opinions of this hospital have diminished greatly. The doctors are great, it's not them I have an issue with, it's the nurses. Don't get me wrong some of them are fantastic, but I dealt with not just one, but several who are in the wrong profession.
