My wife and I visited the Hospital today, she had a minor diagnostic procedure that went well. While in the waiting room I got up and walked the halls, remembering my time as a nurse here many years ago. I stopped to remember fondly the doctors who's portraits are displayed. I came in with a severely infected urinary tract that had contain MRSA. In five days they had it cleared by the best doctors, nurses, and techs that are the friendliest people and I’m so thankful for them.
I had the best experience delivering my daughter here. I was a new mom I was scared the nurses, my midwife, and my doctor were truly amazing in helping me make this experience a wonderful memory.
i live in a county where I have to travel an hour for ob care. Due to Madisonville Baptist taking mid wives out of the delivery room me and many others I know from my county will be choosing Paducah Baptist instead where our voices and concerns are heard and we can pick who we want to form a bond with and they can deliver our babies!!!
I delivered all three of my children at Baptist Health with the help of midwives. I trusted both of those women with my life and the lives of my children. They were all wonderful about letting me take my time and have the births I wanted. There wasn't a rush to have the baby and get back to it. Although I have no issue with physicians, taking away a woman's option to choose who delivers her child is not okay.
