Not a good experience this morning. Called into Berwick branch in the hope of opening a bank account for my 15 year old daughter who was also in attendance. Waited 5 minutes to actually be noticed and a lady came over and asked how she could help, I explained what we wanted to do, and quite abruptly was told “we don’t open bank accounts in branch face to face, go home and do it online” I explained that I had looked into this and it appeared easier to do in branch with the ID we had with us.
