Bank of America has placed a hold on my debit card. I called the local branch which is an hour away from me, and after calling 11 times within an hours time, no one answered. I am leaving now to take time away from work to drive an hour and I am going to close every account I have with them. I've done business with this bank for 3 years and I have yet to have a good experience.

Terrible. Do not bank with Bank of America. Customer Service is awful. I have been with many banks- Chase, PNC, US, 53, Santander, etc. Bank of America has the worst service of all of them- hardly even a comparison. Spent hours on hold trying to get account issues resolved only to find out that there was no compromise to be made. Even spoke with the supervisor who was very insincere and honestly a bit incompetent. Stay away!!!

We have been B of A customers for 30 years. We are considered "Rewards" customers which is just BS. B of A debited our account for the same transactions TWICE. I called customer service & a recorded message said there was an hour and 15 minute wait to talk to a rep. I spent hours on the phone with customer reps & even called the local bank manager. I could not get it resolved. After 2 weeks, we contacted the local branch again. We had to deal with a new manager who was clueless. We had to physically go into the branch to get... read more

If I could give them NEGATIVE starts I WOULD. Imagine 10+ years of an account. Always paying ** balances off and mny bills on time!! I paid over 1300 of a balance!!! Ooo silly ** that I was never notified of owing .15 FREAKING cents. Customer service is HORRIBLE over the phone. I've been hung up on, transferred to the wrong extensions and just BERATED. The Estate department staff should act with empathy, instead they transfer you all over the bank (on the phone for over one hour and 15 minutes, went from Estate to Mortgage to Online Banking to Estate who wanted to transfer me back to Mortgage) and when you ask for Mr. ******'s manager, you are disconnected.

My fiance' and I are new to the States, and we needed an american bank, so we signed up to Bank of America, the friendly staff said that my card should arrive within 5-10 business days and the pin shortly after. A little over 2 weeks passed and nothing, so i returned to the brunch to ask about it, after i was apologized to, they reorder my card. 4 days later my card arrived, I was finally happy to have a working card for USA, but its now been another 2 weeks and no pin has arrived? Not sure what is going on with BOA, it appears they are trying to get rid of their individual customers and go only with commercial accounts. They have done away with drive-thru's and appear to have let go of the excess tellers instead of moving them inside. Now the tellers are over worked, not helpful and have no customer service at all. I went to the location on Veterans Blvd, Port Charlotte, (not on BBB list) and did not have a deposit slip because there were none out. The teller sent me away to go fill one out. i am being EXTREMELY generous in providing the one, as the score of 0 was not an option. THE BANK OF AMERICA I AM SUBMITTING MY REVIEW AS WELL AS COMPLAINT IS THE BANK OF AMERICA LOCATED ON W CAMP WISDOM ROAD IN GRAND PRAIRIE TEXAS (OFF HWY 360). Bank of America is the worse bank ever!!!! After 16 years of a business account never being late with a payment or missing a payment they abruptly called ** after 16 years and cancelled ** credit cards and established credit lines. They said after all those years it was a mistake to extend ** type of business credit however I could continue to have a bank account in which they will allow deposits to make money off ** money.
