I have been a customer for at least 15 years. They always have done what they can to make the customer happy. Today I noticed a $5 service fee and found out that because I am unable to maintain a $800 daily balance that I now have to pay a fee to use Bank Midwest's checking. I went and checked around the KC area and found several banks that have even better checking accounts that are free and since I am over fifty I even get interest on my free checking. Big Thank you for your stupid move Bank Midwest Account will be closed ... read more

I've had my daughter's social security account at Bank Midwest for years. Now they are suddenly charging an $8.00 service charge. That's stealing from a disabled person. I'll be changing banks. Shame on you Bank Midwest!

I've been a customer of Bank Midwest for 18 years and I'm very disappointed in their decision to no longer offer free checking if you have direct deposit. I also refuse to keep a daily balance of $800 in a checking account. So it can just sit there and not grow, all to avoid a monthly service fee. It felt great to close all of my accounts and go somewhere else. Good riddance.

I'll be switching banks soon due to the monthly service charge as well. I need free checking. Too bad I've been a customer a long time.

so I've been a customer for almost 14 years and in that time yes i"ve had issues before and most of the time they have been resolved but when it keeps happening over and over I'm just done with it. I travel for work so I am hardly ever home and I use my debit card quite a bit and yes sometimes I go over but I take care of it within the business day and keep my account positive as to not be charged NSF fees. Sometimes I don't make it in time and I accept the fee and don't co...Continue Reading

Received a letter stating I would be charged monthly for my checking accounts. Moved my money else where and closed my accounts.
