I was with Bank Midwest years ago and when they switched to Academy I was forced to switch....I gave it a try and HATED it! So...I went to the dreaded Bank of America.....BIG mistake! After dealing with them I decided to come on home to Bank Midwest and I'm so glad to be home.....other than the new online banking...I never had any issues. But I love this bank!
Karin Gaw was such a great person to work with! She was very nice, informative, and just made the overall experience of setting an account much more pleasant!
They honored a payment and then charge me an overdraft fee when I have overdraft protection offered by them its cool I will not use you bitches again first thing in the morning I will be closing my account

Been with bank midwest since early 2000's...use to be the best..last 2 years its been a joke....
I was an employee for 10 years. After leaving the company to raise my daughter I've had continued problems and now due to their "banking practices" we are in the worst financial position imaginable thanks to this bank. To them, it's nothing to think of one of their "clients" having a panic attack trying to figure out how to live after seeing what has happened to my account after an "internal error". I am devastated. And so is my family. Thanks Bank Midwest...for NOTHING.
Dora F. at our local bank in Kirksville found a problem with a deposit and went above & beyond in fixing it! There are other local banks trying to get our service but because of the north branch staff, I've kept our small business account with them. Thank you Dora!
