BGE trains their people in field -- on Sundays and Holidays to maximize their overtime [e.g. make you pay more so they can have nice vacations}. Lived here 10 yrs, this is 'enough', and incessant; under the guise of a 'cut', {really - where? why do I see your guys having a laugh and lunch lounging on the side of the road doing a bunch of nothing?!?} pffffft. I think that the baltimore Gas and electric company are gouging their participants. Making them pay more money because they can get assistance from other state and federal sources. It is not fair to the senior citizens that live in the state that we have to pay higher premiums for people not being here to use the gas and electric. That this company provides. They suck! BGE is unable to supply constant quality service in the Hereford zone even in communities built in last 15-20 years They ignore our State Senator Chris Wests office attempting to get us help. YOU WILL NEED a back up generator and a automatic transfer switch if you move here. Businesses requiring constant quality service should not locate here.

If I could give zero stars I would. I have 4 accounts with them but only 3 are visible via my online account so I called to find out why. The customer service rep I got first was great. He said it was because there was no phone number, email or SS # associated with that account. So I gave him the information and he updated that account but then had to transfer me to the credit department for them to add the account. This whole process took over 1 hour only for the person in the credit department to tell me they couldn't make... read more

No stars need to be an option: No stars for service and detailed info on payments required to open new account. 5 for setting up account quick to bill and extract money. After holding for 40 plus minutes and speaking to a rep who said she was sending confirmation of the deposit requirement and getting a supervisor on the line as asked for, the call was ended after 30 more minutes waiting. How difficult is it to be upfront about costs of doing business with BG&E and what remedy is there when no one is upfront about an expense... read more

I been out of service for months because I called months ago and moved my Service just to found out the person never did it. Bge turned my lights off i didn't get a notification or nothing. Also when I went to call them to do it over they told me I have to send Documentation which I did so investigators can look over and that will take 3 more Business days so now I'm still paying rent for a place I can't stay in because me and my kids have Asthma and it's summer time so its very hot ð?¥µ

I've been a customer since December 2021 and the website has been notoriously useless. I've never been able to see my payment history because it always says it's "unavailable." I'm pretty sure my bill has been late several times even though I have set up automatic payments (or at least I tried, I'm not sure that feature ever worked either. And now I can't even see my bill. When I hit "payment history" it signs me out. I tried the app too which is not loading and won't let me view my bill. It's really unacceptable for this la... read more
