Best customer service for an emergency call….. excellent phone service and even better in-person addressing of emergency gas issue in a quick and efficient way. Thank you BGE!!!!
No stars need to be an option: No stars for service and detailed info on payments required to open new account. 5 for setting up account quick to bill and extract money. After holding for 40 plus minutes and speaking to a rep who said she was sending confirmation of the deposit requirement and getting a supervisor on the line as asked for, the call was ended after 30 more minutes waiting. I been out of service for months because I called months ago and moved my Service just to found out the person never did it. Bge turned my lights off i didn't get a notification or nothing. Also when I went to call them to do it over they told me I have to send Documentation which I did so investigators can look over and that will take 3 more Business days so now I'm still paying rent for a place I can't stay in because me and my kids have Asthma and it's summer time so its very hot ð?¥µ

I've been a customer since December 2021 and the website has been notoriously useless. I've never been able to see my payment history because it always says it's "unavailable." I'm pretty sure my bill has been late several times even though I have set up automatic payments (or at least I tried, I'm not sure that feature ever worked either. And now I can't even see my bill. BGE has Seriously bad communication skills. The web site is Useless!, the site wants you to create a log in to access a wealth of information, well let me tell you....I was never able to do so. I got either no response from the web site or " we are sorry. Blah. Blah. Blah. People need to start losing their comfy jobs and maybe this situation will be corrected. We need to call for some oversight and a major audit of this monopoly.

Without power for 36 hours and every hour they push back the time frame. Absolutely ridiculous, they haven't even put a crew on site. This is hundreds without power.

Very unresponsive when you really need them. Without power for 18 hours. They sent a contractor 6 hours back and for the last 4 hours waiting for someone to turn it back on. Customer service is like talking to robots.

I'm not happy with a recent experience I had. I called BGE to let them know wires were down in my backyard. They came out the same day, and all they did was attach a yellow caution flag to the wire and then left. No one spoke to me or contacted me afterwards. I called them a week later to inquire into the status of the open case, and it was only then I was told that the wires belonged to *******, not to them.
