Don’t auto pay! Took out double bill on auto pay after bill was paid in full. Now I have to wait 45 days for a refund, BS customer service, don’t have a choice in providers here in MD,
BGE website is misleading. Information display on my account does not match. My bill is extremely high. They do not process payment on a timely manner. They charge you to make a payment on your bill. They have a high volume of calls. Although they are good at letting you make payment arrangements. However, my charges have been very high, and I can't get an explanation They been overcharging me, and I need answer on why my bill is so high. They charge $82.00 for delivery of gas. BGE has failed to follow the automatic withdraw from our checking account which has been in effect for ages and has sent recorded phone call threats of collections. We have called BGE three times to resolve the matter., asking for supervisors on each of our attempts to solve the matter. I believe there has been computer program changes which have not been resolved. BGE has been overcharging me for electricity for the past 4 months. My meter settings for the first 3 months of the year have not changed, but my energy use (per BGE) has almost tripled. I called the company and was on hold for 2 hours and then hung up on. I called back and was on hold for another 1.5 hours before I could speak to a customer service agent who told me that this winter was colder than last winter so that is why my heat went up. BGE is my only option in my area (Bel Air) for electricity and natural gas. I would certainly use another company if I could. I currently receive electric from them and have tried to speak to someone about getting a gas line run to my house numerous times through phone and through their online portal. I’ve gotten hung up on multiple times by customer service or put on a continuous hold, and no one has responded to any of the callback requests I made online with their new business department. BGE has over charge for the services electricity and gas that we use monthly. Each month the bills are more and more. I know that we have not used the amount of electricity and gas that we are being charged for. The bills have doubled from previous months, years. We signed up for budget billing and the bills are still higher than last year when we were on budget billing. Please STOP BGE FROM OVER CHARGING!!!
No past paid bills in previous address. Moving to a new address and having to file paperwork potentially not having electricity on in the property I am moving to beginning Oct 1st. First it was me paying $241 in order to have electric in my name Now it’s, the previous tenant owed over $500 so now it becomes my responsibility to send personal information via email to their contract investigations team and wait three business days to have maybe electric. Ray Ruth was technician with skills. During a route review of equipment, by a outside contractor (********* ****** ********** not actually sure of name, the gas regulator on the exterior of our home was worn. Emergency service was immediately dispatched to our block. There were other homes with like issues. Ray made contact with us, informed us of the problem and that was going to be done and when it would be done. TODAY, he fixes the issues TODAY. THANK YOU RAY **** YOU ARE AWESOME.
