BGE bills the last 5 months have been outrageous. And they are trying to blame it on “very cold days “. It could be a blizzard outside you are not aware of everyone’s situation. I work 60 hours a week 12 hours shifts 5 days. All I do is sleep at my house mainly during the week and the weekends i stay at my boyfriends house. I recently renovated my house, which required me to move out and rent another place for three months. The project was completed in about two and a half months, but I have been facing challenges with reconnecting the electricity and gas. Despite BGE scheduling a visit two months ago, the electricity was only recently reconnected by a BGE electrician. I purchased a rental property in Baltimore MD March 2023 and had it completely renovated which was completed in September 2023. The Baltimore Gas & Electric account was switched to my name in March when it was purchased. We welcomed our first tenant in April 2024, however the BGE bill spiked from approximately $30/mo total in September 2023 to approximately $200 in October/November 2023. Horrid how I accidentally selected BGE Budget Billing and after reading reviews on BBB site..Auto pay is simply taking your money not helping customers as well. Constellation..at least tried to help. But unfortunately I'm not connected to them. Budget Billing and Auto pay SCAMs are approved by BGE and it's simply unethical and certainly Not Fair.

Would not trim Dangerous living and DEAD branch near power line, that could fall on the power line orFall on somebody walking by. They only had a man come out only to look at the branch, Which is BG&E's waste of time and money. Don’t auto pay! Took out double bill on auto pay after bill was paid in full. Now I have to wait 45 days for a refund, BS customer service, don’t have a choice in providers here in MD,

BGE website is misleading. Information display on my account does not match. My bill is extremely high. They do not process payment on a timely manner. They charge you to make a payment on your bill. They have a high volume of calls. Although they are good at letting you make payment arrangements. However, my charges have been very high, and I can't get an explanation They been overcharging me, and I need answer on why my bill is so high. They charge $82.00 for delivery of gas. BGE has failed to follow the automatic withdraw from our checking account which has been in effect for ages and has sent recorded phone call threats of collections. We have called BGE three times to resolve the matter., asking for supervisors on each of our attempts to solve the matter. I believe there has been computer program changes which have not been resolved. BGE has been overcharging me for electricity for the past 4 months. My meter settings for the first 3 months of the year have not changed, but my energy use (per BGE) has almost tripled. I called the company and was on hold for 2 hours and then hung up on. I called back and was on hold for another 1.5 hours before I could speak to a customer service agent who told me that this winter was colder than last winter so that is why my heat went up.
