Late delivery and now can not contact anyone. I am some how a AmeriGas customer now. Started out with * *** * *** in lumberton..... then without signing anything or talking to anyone cape fear propane starts filling my tank. My great aunt lives in *******,ky she ordered her propane weeks before the ice and snow so she had to turn her heat down really low now she is in the hospital with possible pneumonia ***!!!! Cause it was so cold in her house... and all you get is a *******computer to talk to
This company has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I moved into a new house in November whose previous owners used Amerigas. I could not contact the company to set up a new account with them. Whenever I would call there would be an outrageous wait time, generally in excess of 90 minutes. A few times I actually tried to wait out that wait time on hold, only to be disconnected. Amerigas has become the absolute worst company to meet home hearing needs. They tell you to call when your at 30 precent but it takes them 3 weeks to deliver. Current I have prepaid for propane was told it would be delivered within a 2 week time frame. Called them because I was going to run out if they didn't deliver by the date they specified was told I was scheduled for delivery that day,. They never showed up. Customer service has no idea why. Their custom service is Terrible to non existent. I ordered propane when my tank was at 30% and that was two and a half weeks ago. Now I have been out for several days. I have called 3 times now to find out when it is getting delivered and have gotten three different answers. I will be looking for another supplier.
Been with out gas for a week now, ordered propane 3 weeks ago! Multiple phone calls, no help what so ever! Ever since they closed all the local offices amerigas went to crap! The centralized call service is bad, you will wait for over an hour to talk to anyone on the phone! WOST CUSTOMER SERVICE OF ALL TIME!!! Takes over 40 mins to get anyone on the phone and then they don't follow through with what they say. Their techs over charge and seem irritated to come perform any service and apparently nobody from the office even explained to them why they were coming out. NEVER USE AMERIGAS!!!!
After I pay off my delivery bill which I made in small payments they came and refilled my tank again when I didnt need it yet and struggled to pay off I asked to only deliver when I call so then they charge me because I'm not on auto delivery when you call they will not work with you I live alone on disability they came and locked my tank I had to pay to get it unlocked my son paid my balance of 200 dollars and now I have a 300 dollar bill in collections when I called to find out why and ask for a break down of this 300.00 p... read more
Amerigas has got to be the worst company ever!! Between there lack of customer service, untimely deliveries and having to constantly call back and repeat conversations. Ive been fighting with them since Nov of 2020. finally got al set up and a delivery. Only took 3 1/2 weeks and many hrs of phone calls. Now in February (I called on Jan 27th) still waiting for promised delivery. Also waiting for service call. I guess they stay in business for all the big companies.
