Every 6ish months i have to call and ask them to please make sure they call me day before. I have dogs and a locked gate so i need to make arrangements to get everyone set up. The driver says he gets his schedule same day the customer support say they get to see their schedule so who is lying? Im now down to below 10% and have missed him twice because of same day calling. I have no idea what company to switch to but am so tired of this.

Propane suppliers are fundamentally utility providers for many of us. When I moved into my new home Amerigas was the contractor to fill my propane tank. The tank was empty, and the soonest they said they would be able to come fill it was three weeks away. That is not much different than the electric company telling you that it will be three weeks before they can turn on the electricity at your house. Cooking food, hot water all depended on propane. I had their tank removed and the company more interested in my business insta... read more

I am on automatic delivery, which used to be every three months but they switched over to every six months. Well it’s been six months and I ended up running out of propane in my tank. I went online and filled out that my current levels were 0% and was then placed on an expedited 1 day delivery. I called the next morning and spoke to someone who informed me after being put on a brief hold that I would indeed be placed on the list to be filled that day. After hours had passed and the day almost gone I called again only to be t... read more

This is the worst company /customer service I have ever dealt with. I used to use ENERGY NORTH, which was purchased by Amerigas. Since then, the customer service and responsiveness has gone in the shitter. I called last week at around 15%. They gave me a delivery date of June 2nd. June 2nd comes. I wait all day. I call 3 times and are immediately speaking with someone in another country. A call center, sounded like a huge party going on in the background. I could not hear the call-taker. I kept asking when the delivery would... read more

AmeriGas bought out our local propane supplier, and the service has been horrible. The gauge on our tank was broken and never fixed after being reported. I called to cancel the service. They picked our tank up, but they did not cap the lines as they were supposed to. They scheduled a man appointment to come back and cap the line, but they never showed up to do it. You sit on hold for 45+ minutes for service and still can’t get your questions answered. We are just buying our own 100lb tank and having it refilled elsewhere. Th... read more

If I could rate this company negative stars I most definitely would. Price gouging their customers and horrible customer service. I had been a customer for 20+ years and was paying over $1.00 per gallon more than what the local companies were charging. When I called and talked to the representative on several occasions I was treated with such disrespect. I was told that not all customers get the same pricing and it depends on your usage which I believe is very dishonest. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
