I am new to this surgery. What a difference from Brook Medical Centre. My only regret I didn't move to this surgery sooner. The receptionists are amazing... polite respectful and so helpful. I don't get anxious when ringing reception here. My old surgery you had to prove your worth and fight for an appointment when your not well that's the last thing you need to then be told they had nothing for two weeks or more. OK if you have chilblains or a cold but anything more serious forget about it. I had a sudden and significant loss of use of a limb, called for a GP appointment but told no appointments available so bounced to a supposed physio at another practice. He did a very cursory look and referred me to the routine MSK pathway. Advised I'd be given an appointment within 2 months to be seen some months after that. More chance of winning the lottery than getting an appointment. I was made an appointment by NHS 111 for a call from a doctor. Get a call from the receptionist saying "hello obviously we don't have any appointments today." Well that's not obvious to me since I was given an appointment. Was told to call back at 8am in the morning, I am sick of trying hundreds of times to get through to be told there's nothing left.
Excellent. Rang the surgery and got in the same day.
I have been a patient of this practice for 25 years. I only have good experiences in this time. The doctors are all very polite and friendly. I’ve been seen quickly when needed and even had a follow up call I didn’t expect when I was really poorly. I have 100% trust in them.
