Very thorough in his explanation of medical issues and engaging with the patient.
I would have put 5 stars here-because Dr. Mazahery is knowledgeable, smart and friendly-but...he's always in a rush! The two times that I have seen him he's been late to the appointment (like most doctors BTW), and then you feel that once he's delivered what he has to say, he is out of the door. Both times I've not seen him over 10-12 minutes. This is something endemic now in the medical community, and I will report this every time I have to...like in the case of Dr. Mazahery
Excellent physician!
Wish more than five stars was an option. Just had my second surgery from Dr. Mazahery and, as expected, it went great. He is an extremely talented surgeon who actually cares about, speaks with, and actually listens to his patients. Though nobody wants surgery, he makes the whole process as painless as possible. He even goes so far to make his cut in the best location to prevent/reduce scar visibility. In a word he is: exceptional.
Great Doctor! Another hospital said I needed surgery for spinal fracture (broken t5/t6). He suggested no surgery, only bracing. Now recovered - I feel great - its as if it never happened. Thankful to have him as my doctor.
Dr. Mazahery is very nice, and he explained the required treatment very clearly.
I've had 5 back surgeries with Dr Mazahery and would definitely recommend him to anyone considering back surgery. Dr Mazahery explains everything in layman's terms. He is very personable and puts you at ease immediately.
Dr. Mazahery has been my doctor for more than 20 years. During that time he was always giving me is very honest opinion about how to move forward with the various back issues that I have had. He is very good at what he does and I would highly recommend him over any doctor in the area. He also has a great staff and he personally has a great bedside manner.
